(1 Corinthians 16-17)
"16Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 17If anyone [b]defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are"
According to popular belief, the church is the agreed upon meeting place of "believers" from various creeds to worship their "god". This is the definition also agreed upon by the United States Federal government, displayed through their "regulatory" tax laws, "requiring" God's people to become subordinate to the state. While Scriptures state to "obey the laws and times", it also states that "there is a time for everything" and prophesied events could not have occurred in the past if the "church" of Biblical times simply "bent the knee" to the Pharisees and Sadduces representing the then de facto "crown", being the United States government here in America.
TRYBE, like many longstanding Christ-following establishments has enacted its 1st amendment right to freedom of religion, freedom of speech and freedom to the press and operates as a FREE CHURCH with its roots reaching back to ancient Judea, prior to our homeland's prophesied demise at the hands of Roman invaders.
From that time forward, as prophesied to the ancient nation of Israel by Moses when being led out of the bondage that they faced in ancient Egypt, the church has faced persecution for the testimony of Jesus Christ around the world since being chased from Israel.
Now one might ask, who are the true "Hebrews" ?
The answer however, is complicated to say the least due to the prevalence of satanic influence in leadership throughout history as stated in Ephesians 6:12:
"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places"
Additionally, here is our brother in Christ, Paul, discussing the unimportance of "heritage" when it comes to salvation:
(Galatians 3:26-29)
"26For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise"
So according to the Scriptures, the church is identified as God's chosen heirs to the promises of Abraham through their faith, specifically in Jesus Christ.
